About Prooflater
An accountability platform for predictions, promises, and bets. Lock in a claim before the outcome is known, invite others to vote on it, and face the truth when the reveal date arrives.
How it works
Three steps to accountability.
Seal
Write your claim — a prediction, promise, or bet. It gets hashed and locked instantly.
Wait
The countdown ticks. Discuss with participants, but the sealed claim stays hidden.
Reveal
Time's up — the seal breaks. Everyone sees the original claim and votes on the outcome.
What we stand for
SHA-256 verified
Every claim is cryptographically hashed at submission. Tamper-proof by design.
Zero edits allowed
Once sealed, no one can change a word. What you said is what you said.
Community decides
Participants vote True, False, or Partially True. Majority rules.
Why we built it
Born from too many “I told you so” arguments with no receipts.
People make bold claims all the time — on social media, in meetings, in group chats. But when the moment of truth arrives, those claims quietly disappear. We built Prooflater because accountability shouldn't be optional.
Whether it's a market prediction, a New Year's resolution, a friendly bet, or a team commitment — Prooflater gives you a place to put your words on record and see how they hold up.
The team
Prooflater is built and maintained by CODERCOPS — a small team that believes in building tools that hold people (including ourselves) to a higher standard.
We're a group of engineers and designers who think the world needs less “trust me, bro” and more cryptographic proof.
